If you can’t feed it right away, pop it in the refrigerator until your ready. This starter will be ready to bake with within 2-3 feedings, unlike dehydrated starter that usually takes 5 days to rehydrate and feed. I also offer dehydrated for those that would like to have their own starter but aren’t ready for the daily feedings just yet. The dehydrated starter will stay viable for up to 6 months when stored in a cool dry place, and usually requires about 5 days to rehydrate and feed, to become an active leaven to bake with.
